“When I first come to Jade Roberts Project I was unable to see any happiness in my life, id tried a lot of other places for support and felt like I was going round in circles and no one understood me, luckily when I called, Tracey spoke to me, and really listened and that same day she seen me, I was made to feel really comfortable, I've spoken to other counsellors and therapists in the past and I never really got anywhere, and always felt like they wasn't wanting to truly help me, but at Jade Roberts Project they do understand me, they do care which is one of the most important factors, they truly have helped me, I'm the same as all of us I have my good days and my bad days, but now after the continued support from the project, my days now are a lot brighter, I handle negative situations and I'm able to find the positives in a lot more things, I've finally been waking up a lot more excited about life and them dark moments that I have had, are understood more, and now I'm learning how to cope and move forward, without the project I'd still be bouncing from place to place saying the same story over an over again, Tracy, Andy and all of the team at the project truly care, understand, help, motivate and inspire me and for that I'm forever grateful.”

“I had the good fortune to be sign-posted to the project by the NHS Mersey Care mental health crisis team, but it was a friend who referred me when I was struggling with my feelings and emotions. I was seen within a week and the project was a lifeline to me. I can’t praise the team enough - welcoming, caring and supportive. They looked after me as an individual and focused on the emotional, as well as physical, well-being. They’ve given me the tools and confidence to carry on - Thank you!”
